The photo presents a typical wooden mountains house from Steg in Liechtenstein.

Principality of Liechtenstein is a doubly landlocked country in Central Europe bordered by Switzerland to the west and south and by Austria to the east. Liechtenstein is the fourth smallest independent country in Europe and sixth smallest in the world (160 km2 – 35 thousand inhabitants). It is the only country to lie entirely within the Alps. Its Capital is Vaduz.

Steg is a unique village as it is built around the central meadow, in two circles either side of main road to Malbun. At 1,300m a.s.l. Steg offers clean and peaceful environment.

Bonjour Miro,

J'aime beaucoup cette contre plongée qui donne beaucoup d'ampleur à cette maison de bois dans la montagne. J'aime aussi le fait qu'elle soit décentrée, ce qui nous permet de bien voir son environnement de verdure.

Hello Miro,
I thought that kind of houses only existed on fairy tales. Beautiful composition, natural colors and great sharpen allowing us to "feel" the wooden texture of the house. The greens adds a lot to the composition.

Very characteristic houses, they are so cute and immaculate. I like that you have positioned the house slightly off-centre and given full space to the wonderful trees and hills beyond. Excellent shot from a country that is under- represented here on TE.

Fantastic scenery showing the typical wooden house in green setting and the way you've captured the perspective with the stronger greener greens in the distant slopes. Great rich natural colours and the scene is very pleasing with good sense of scale. The humble looking house just pops out just stunningly, what a beautiful place to live and your pic does the mountains beautiful justice. Well done
