Photographer's Note

The picture was taken from the window of my hotel room. The hotel overlooked the Russian Orthodox Church (in the foreground) and the Independence Square. Right behind it is the Old Town

It was the end of February and the snow practically melted away with a few patches remaining here and there.

In fact, it was the only picture I ever took in Latvia and I am glad I did. Brings back memories of that mellow and surprisingly sunny afternoon.

No cropping, no tweaking, published as is.

Film: Kodak Ultra 400
