Photographer's Note

Marmolada is the highest mountain of the Dolomites. It has a glacier and I've heard that the Italian downhill-skiteam practice here in the summers too. True?
This picture is taken from the one of three cable cars going up to the glacier at the height of 3342 meters.
I think that the cables in the photo somehow can describe the distance and steepness. In the middle of the photo, in the light part, very small, you can see one of the lift-houses on the other mountain ridge.
