Photographer's Note
Santa Croce, the church of the Franciscans in Florence, is one of the finest examples of Italian Gothic architecture.
Many famous Italians are buried in the church: e.g., Leon Battista Alberti, Michelangelo, Vittorio Alfieri, Leonardo Bruni, Gioacchino Rossini, and Galileo.

Bonjour Stephen,
Une très belle vue de cette basilique ! Belles couleurs, netteté impeccable, grande profondeur,du beau travail ! Dommage seulement que le ciel soit aussi blanc mais on ne peut pas commander le ciel qu'on souhaite.

I love the detail and sharpness in this one Stephen especially the front of the white church that dominates the center of the photo. The mass of buildings in the foreground adds a nice contrast to the hazy greens of the background.

Not your usual subject matter Stephen, but it's a great job nonetheless. The view from above is unusual, as we are used to seeing buildings like this from street level, and this angle allows us to see the town surrounding the cathedral, which is what makes this special. Excellent work!
