Photographer's Note
Like most of Europe, their old architecture has a timeless quality to it. The absence of people or objects, save for the lone bike in the distance, makes it even harder to date. Color balance was adjusted slightly digitally from the scan.

Is that the time of siesta? Very nice photo. But it is very difficult to take photo in the time of noon. Because there usually is being hard lights and hard shadows.

Hi Paul
A good subject. The point of view is good. The lighting is not that great, but I realise it is hard to take good shots in bright sunlight sometimes. You have still managed to keep a lot of detail in the shade which is great.
The only thing is perhaps some of the immediate foreground could be cropped?
... or not. Actually, looking at it again, I could be wrong:)
Cheers
