Arrone (TR)

Arrone is a town of about 2800 inhabitants in the province of Terni.
The two-thousand-year history of the village is testified by the discovery of a travertine stone, a marble slab with an inscription in the church of San Lorenzo in Tripozzo, a female head in marble dating back to the second century. BC, some small bronzes and a seal from a probable sanctuary on the top of Mount Arrone.
However, according to the documentary sources, Arrone derives its name from the noble Arroni family, who, according to the Foligno historian Ludovico Iacobilli, founded it in the 9th century AD.

Hi Silvio,

Vous avez eu une bonne idée d'utiliser l'arche pour cadrer la scène. la prise de vue permet de voir les détails des immeubles. La lumière met en valeur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirée.

Hello Silvio,
Great composition through the arch. The village on the hillside is very pretty and the road connects us with it. A large tree fills a part of the sky perfectly. Light and colours are very good.

Beautiful composition. The subject is popular in your gallery a town located on the slopes of a hill, but here you have photographed it with a fantastic framing which makes it a very original entry.
The arch is so nice and you filled it also well woth the tree which pleasantly decorates the scene. The main focal point stays of course the lovely village.

Such a lovely and sunny view of the town in the distance and you used the arch here so well to add a nice round frame around this view and the darker trees in the foreground, which add a nice contrast as well.
