Photographer's Note

For a little change from history lessons :-) here is a "niente di ché" inspired once again by our dear friend Carlo: While he was driving us from Pisa to Peccioli, he stopped for a while to show us one of his favorite places.
The small chapel of San Pierino (~27km south of Pisa) lost in the middle of the fields of Capannoli is a soothing spectacle.
It was built as the church of the Medici villa in Camugliano and is now abandoned, probably opening to the public only for Heritage Day.
But it reigns over the surrounding countryside that changes appearance at different times of the day and year

WS2 Close up of the chapel
WS1 Change of colours :-)
