Photographer's Note

Buonacquisto, 692 meters above sea level, part of the municipality of Arrone (TR), which is just over 5 km, now has a population of 71 inhabitants.
It was founded by a great-grandson of Lupone, Berardo Atto II, in the same period of Arrochar (IX century), and fortified during the Saracen invasions. Since sec. The lignite mine in the village of Buonacquisto, is cultivated in the open air, both in the gallery, which is open at the beginning of the twentieth century on the initiative of the mining company Bottini Milan. just after the Great War was taken over local company being bought by anonymous mining Piediluco who carried on the business until 1958, when production ceased.

Through the station Piediluco served industries of Terni and the furnaces Briziarelli and Tacconi. The complex industrial system was interested in the territory of three municipalities (Piediluco, Arrochar, Wrasse).
