Photographer's Note

Venice is full of tourists, especially couples. They visit in pairs the plazzas, the churches, etc. Like a human continuous flow they go up and down hundreds of bridges.

The pic was taken one hour or so before sunset, after a long (but delightful) day of walk.
This couple probably was part of a huge cruise boat "equipage" (a lot of them park in this area) and I guess they had hard time visiting Venice and its bridges ;)

About bridges in Venice:
*I've been told thay were build way after the buildings and quays, that's why they are rarely straight...
*I read somewhere that few years ago, they weren't "walls" on both sides of the bridges preventing poeple to fall into the river...bridges where like wooden or stone plank thrown from a quay to another. The accidents where so frequent that a whole page in newspaper was dedicated to them!

About the pic:
*Cropped the left side to get more focus on the couple and manage a squary composition.
*adjusted contrast and curves a little bit.
*Turned into black and played with sharpening filter.

I surely would like to get your feedback on this B&W (not sure it is of optimum quality) and if you have an idea a WS would be much appreciated. Thanks :)
