Photographer's Note
This little town is a couple of hours drive north of Venice. Appararently, it's history goes back to the thirteen hundreds. Lots of old buildings, including an old church that leans like it's ready to fall over. For us, the highlight was the little stream that runs through the town. Fish are visible through it's crystal clear waters and beatiful white swans swim lazily about. This picture was taken a little ways down from a waterfall and an old mill, in the centre of town.
I took this photo with my littl old Olympus C-50, which is a very basic digital camera, and I think it is one of the best pictures that I have ever taken. Which just goes to show that it's better to be lucky than good, whether it be in skill or equipment!

Hi John, this is a beautiful shot. You've composed it very well with the water wrapping around the building and framing by the leaves and bridge. The colours are very natural almost pastels, and you've picked these up in the water's reflection. Very nice.
Thanks, John
