A colorful life
Burano is a small island in the north of Venice, much less attended, but néammoins very coloured... If Murano (another island of the Lagoon) has as a speciality the glassmaking, here, the speciality is lace. Moreover, Burano has an inclined Bell-tower, to make some redden the Tower of Pisa on the other hand..., that with the rather dangerous air. In all cases, if you are in the area, do not hesitate to make there a turn, you can take Vaporetto with "Fondamenta Nuove", it will be necessary 45 minutes and three stops for you, including one in Murano. This image is repostéd, with a new framework. So long

Tout à fait charmant. C'est le genre d'image que j'aurais envie de reproduire au pastel, en accentuant cependant le bleu du ciel pour faire ressortir le clocher. Réjouissante photo, merci à toi!

Buongiorno Loic,
excellent view of the essential elements of Burano: the brights colors and the pending tower (i agree with you, it's dangerous!) The clothes out of the window are another typical element, but not only in Burano!
It's incredible how I, that live perhaps 30km away from Burano and the Venetian Lagoon, have posted almost no photos in contrast with the all of the other TE members, coming surely from a very much distant lands!! ... my fault!

You have found a very nice corner here, with colourful walls and signs of daily life. Sunny and peaceful atmosphere. The wall on the right is on edge of overexposure though.

Vraiment coloré cette ville de Burano et c'est vrai que le campanile a l'air de pencher dangereusement! Une bonne compo qui permet d'avoir un assortiment de toutes ces couleurs et une bonne utilisation du cadrage vertical.

jolie couleurs en effet. Un choix presque chocant de cette suite vert-bleu-rouge. Mais que la vie soit belle en couleur.

A pleasant photo, Loïc. The street corner with the colorful houses makes a charming sight by itself, but what makes this one work is the inclusion of the signs of individuality such as the hanging laundry. The wrought-iron elements and their shadows are pleasant details, too.

compared with the original, this framing is a lot better, it brings out the coloring more of this pittoresk street view, question of personal taste and choice, some sharpening and contrast had brought out the graphical capacity of the shot I think but then you loose a bit the pastel toning here.

Bel effet avec ces juxtapositions de façades colorées, cadrage efficace qui mène le regard vers le clochers, bien vu.

c'est fou ces couleurs!meme le ciel en palit de jalousie,des ingredients pleins de charmes:linges à sécher,balcons en fer forgés,c'est que le clocher fait peur a voir,beau job,bonne journée,

C'est vrai qu'il est surprenant ce campanile penché. Le nouveau cadre met bien en valeur les couleurs de l'image. La lumière est belle pour un mois de mars. J'aime bien les ombres des gardes-corps et le moulin multicolore que l'on voit souvent à Burano.

Hi Loic,
A well composed shot rendered with good colour, contrast and clarity. I like the menage of hues here blending together. It is humorous to see the clothes strung out on the line in such a place - perhaps that is all lace? Very well seen and captured.

nice capture, and nice notes, I find it a bit whiter a bit overexposed, I can be wrong, but easy to check with the histogram

I like those narrow corridors, inviting, very nice place to visit

seul le linge (ou leur dentelles) reste blanc.

une image qui me rappelle de forts beaux souvenirs à Burano
c'est vraiment un plaisir des yeux pour tout photographe (et pour les autres aussi d'ailleurs...)
j'aime ton cadrage avec le contraste des maisons colorées et la couleur naturelle du campanile

J'aime beaucoup les différentes couleurs de ton image. L'angle
de prise de vue est très bien choisi aussi. Je suis allé sur
cette petite île près de Venise, mais je n'ai que de vague
