Happy Saint Valentine's

On a small clearing at the top of the town of San Valentino, there is the pretty church dedicated to the patron saint of lovers, bishop and protector of Terni. On the back wall the saint is portrayed twice, at the bottom left and at the center right of the crucifix.

Hello Silvio,
This small church probably creates an intimate atmosphere. The paintings are beautiful and the colours are still strong and vivid in spite of some damage. One small window created quite good light. I like how you cropped the photo tightly.

Ciao Caro Silvio,

A Patron Saint of Lovers seems like the most appropriate saint to highlight on this day - Valentine's Day!
The frescoes are very well painted on the arched wall of this church and, without a lot of natural light, you have shown it quite clearly.
