Photographer's Note
We enter the fortress of Narni, showing the party hall. There are few furnishings left, but the table is still the original one for the great medieval dinners. And someone has even thought of using it as a location for the wedding, an English couple from what seems to be reading the menu scheduled for June 16th (see the WS). But something went wrong, perhaps due to the restrictions due to the pandemic, and the menus remained on empty plates, while the glasses filled with dust. For news on the fortress refer to my previous post.

Hello Luciano,
A great view of this large old hall in the fortress and the large table still waiting for guests in the middle. I like the repetition of the many wineglasses and the orange tapestry on the other side.

Ciao Luciano,
Maybe the girl changed her mind, ha ha
No, most probably that was due to the Covid restrictions. Nice symmetrical composition here. I like the orange touch. The walls are muolded a bit but I suppose this may add a rustic touch to the location, ha ha
Very well spotted,

Hello Luciano,
This is a most unusual photo, not so much for what it shows but for the story behind the picture. It's almost spooky, like the story of the abandoned ship Mary Celeste, if you have heard of it. The photo as such is very well taken, with good light and excellent depth, but I can't understand why no staff cleared away the glasses and plates when they were told the dinner was called off. Why just leave everything here to collect dust? And what happened to the food?
Very strange but interesting,
Best regards,
Gert

Ciao Luciano, bella prospettiva sulla tavolata purtroppo inutilizzata, mette un po' di tristezza, a me le tavolate piacciono piene, gran bell'interno, ottima esposizione, bravò, ciao Silvio

Hello Luciano,
Interesting photo from inside the fortress of Narni. Another photo in the workshop is also very interesting why the celebration did not take place.Of course, the photos are of good quality, with natural colors and good sharpness
Fine presentation

Bonsoir Luciano,
La longueur de la table crée de la profondeur et de la perspective à la composition. La suite des verres donne du dynamisme à la scène. La prise d evue permet de voir les détails de la salle et d ela table. Bonne soirée.

Hello Luciano,
No, I don't think it was COVID. I think the bride saw those walls with peeling paint and threw a fit and they changed the venue.

Hello dear Luciano and have a nice new week
thanks for the sharing
its a great pity that happened
something like this
In Greece too were cancelled
too many marriages..but a lot
of couples prefered to be married
in small villages where the check
covid was difficult enough..so the
guests were about two hundred
people or three hundred...
regards

Ciao Caro Luciano,
The couple must have been devastated to have this wonderfully intended wedding cancelled!
Italy is such a popular destination for weddings; my son and his wife were married in a lovely area near Siena and so called their first child, Siena!
You chose the perfect viewpoint, to create a fine sense of depth and perspective. We get the feeling of the number of people who would also have been disappointed!
Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Nice table in perfect array, but with no use, pity.
Used well the low light inside the big hall, Luciano, the table added sense of depth to the scene.
Arrivederci,
Ike

Hello Luciano,
Good linear perspective and interior lighting with nice repetition of the dusty glasses and empty plates. The bright orange tapestry adds a mediaeval look. Tfs!

Hello Luciano,
Perhaps the relationship had broken down even before the marriage. Always better than afterwards of course.
In the meantime, a lot of dust will have fallen into the glasses.
Did you have the opportunity to take a look in the kitchen? Perhaps there were still desserts left in the fridge?
Good clear and sharp picture of the large medieval room of the fortress.
Good light management, attractive colours.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Luciano,
It seems like the glasses and plated are more modern than the table. I tried to red the menu, I understood 'basilico' that is one of favourite spices.
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Ciao Luciano,
It's strange that the settings for this wedding were left behind, but it also creates an interesting scene! All the glasses and plates look nice as they line the edges of this long table. Maybe the wedding will still take place at a later date, so they just left everything while they wait. :-)

Hi Luciano.
Very curious composition, with this large table prepared but without diners, would Frank and Caroline get married? Or they would postpone it like so many weddings during the pandemic that is re-emerging again
Good composition, with magnificent color as well as perfect brightness and sharpness.
Well done. I like it.
Have a great day.

Hi Lucioan, again,
An interesting story! Let's hope that only the wedding venue was canceled, and that the wedding took place somewhere else!
Great job on your part!
