Photographer's Note

Castello di Legogne – Norcia (PG)
Legogne is a castle that develops in a linear fashion, in front of Forsivo, along the path that connected the Valle del Fiume Corno with the settlements of the plateau above and allowed to go down to the opposite side towards Valle Oblita, in Preciano, avoiding the long circumvention of the mountainous area.
The place was probably already inhabited in Roman times, as evidenced by various findings.
The name probably derives from an oronym, certainly has nothing to do with the etymology that links it to a mysterious penal bath.
