Photographer's Note
Casali Sant’Egidio - Norcia (PG)
Enigmatic remains of a large building can be found along the Cortigno valley, a side valley of the Valnerina that starts just before the now uninhabited castle of Biselli. The name and the typological characteristics would suggest a religious settlement, of which however there is no news. It appears to have been made in three different factory times. The oldest nucleus is made of fairly finished limestone blocks but of very variable dimensions, connected to each other without mortar, it is certainly a pre-Romanesque structure, due to its characteristics it could date back to the IX - X century.

Hello Silvio,
It's a fascinating view of a such an old building of which so little is known. It seems to be located in a difficult terrain, where a favourable vantage point was hard to find. The trees and shrubs partly disturb the view and the light may have caused you further problems. Maybe slightly stronger contrasts would have made it easier to fully appreciate the photo.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Silvio,
Les cadrent cadrent bien les ruines. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des ruines de l'immeuble. La lumière donne un bon rendu aux couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Ciao Silvio
This place looks mysterious indeed. Even more so surrounded by bare winter vegetation. Definitely worth a photo.
Best wishes

Hello Silvio,
Nice textures and good natural colours. The old walls blend in nicely with the trees and pale green tones of the grass and leaves. Well composed too.

Hi Silvio
A good photo of this largely unknown ruined castle although castle seems to be a bit of an exaggeration.

Hi Silvio
At thumbnail this ruin appears almost camouflage with minimal colour rendition but well detailed. Interesting location & history with feel of depth and strength.

Pozdrav.
Lep pogled, interesantan tekst ...
Lepo mesto i rusevina, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama i kontrastom.
Dobar rad, lepa fotografija.
Stara arhitektura na uvek nesto novo otkrije.
Zelim vam lepo popodne, sve najbolje.

I liked the order of the stones so well positioned in the wall against the chaos of the dry vegetation around. nice image.

Hello Silvio,
It does not look like much has remained from this settlement.
