Photographer's Note
The 17 contradas of Siena have fountains where new contrada members are baptized. Most of the fountains were built in the XX century.
This is the fountain of the contrada of Istrice (Purcupine). It was made by sculptor Vico Consorti in 1962 and is located in Via Malta.

interessare, I like the good detail on the stones, I like the divers building materials as well as the lovely fountain.
