Photographer's Note

On the third day of our meeting with Carlo and Ghislaine, we went to Florence. of course, Florence is a marvelous city but unfortunately much too many people think the same. The crowds were awful. No possible to take any nice photos.
In the afternoon we said good bye to Gigi and went to visit less populated places. We were in Prato, Pistoia and Serravalle Pistoiese. This small town that I have never heard of, has many interesting monuments, some churches, towers and a Rocca di Castruccio - a medieval castle. These arcades are part of the Church of San Michele Arcangelo. It houses a 14th-century Miracle of St. Blaise and a triptych with Madonna Enthroned with Child and Saints (1438), by Bartolomeo di Andrea Bocchi.
The day was cloudy and a bit rainy, so there are no lights and shadows :(.

Two other photos of these arcades in Workshops.
