Photographer's Note

Molti anni fa, quando i campi venivano lavorati con la forza delle braccia, ogni tanto si vedevano degli alberi solitari in mezzo alla campagna. Questo veniva fatto per far si che i contadini potessero ripararsi dal sole almeno durante il misero pasto tra una sessione di lavoro e l'altra.
Al giorno d'oggi non c'è più questa necessità, i contadini hanno trattori con aria condizionata e il lavoro viene svolto più velocemente grazie alla meccanizzazione, ciò nonostante è rimasta questa abitudine di lasciare un albero ogni tanto tra i campi coltivati.

Hello Carlo,
This is a simple but very elegant composition, carefully balanced and with a good use of the long shadow cast by the tree. I think most photographers would not have realized the potential of this place. On a cloudy day this would have been nothing, but the good light has created great opportunities to make a digital "painting".

Hello Carlo,
A carefully framed minimalist composition that makes for an excellent study in colour and texture. I like the lighting and the long shadow cast by the shrub. Superb rendering of the textural detail. Very sophisticated photography.

Je ne comprends pas vraiment ce que je vois. Je pense que tu voulais montrer la grande solitude de cet arbre dans sa clairière de gravier et c'est bien fait.

Great composition and a marvellous play of shadows. The low sunlight increases the structures of various shapes beautifully.
It is a bright and simple composition that makes it very attractive.
