Hi Gianluca,

excellent result with the use of HDR. The POV is perfect. The contrast between the colorful sunshade and the strong and intimating clouds are really nice. Well done!

Ottima fotografia Gianluca, il tempo così grigio con la sdraio che spicca nei colori dell'estate.

ben riuscito questo hdr, ben bilanciato e ottima la resa cromatica ottenuta. Buona la composizione e il pov anche se mi chiedevo come sarebbe stata con una inquadratura orizzontale.

Hi Gianluca,

I'm normally not a big fan of obvious HDR but in this case it really makes the picture. This looks like a scene from the last days of summer when the weather has started turning colder and the beaches are increasingly empty. I actually prefer this version to the workshop as well as it retains more detail in the highlights. You have a rock steady shooting stance as I could never do this type work handheld.

Sorry but the more I see of HDR the more I dislike it. This photo just looks so fake and overprocessed. Not helped by the clumsy masking work on the sunshade in the middle, which seems to glow because the sky around it is lighter than the rest of the sky. Composition of the shot itself is not bad although also nothing special.
