Photographer's Note

The Duomo's cupola is an architectural marvel. Filippo Brunelleschi spent 18 years building the dome which was finished in 1436. The whole church is magnificant but the dome is the centerpiece of the Florence skyline. Walking around the Duomo, you are struck by the greatness of the building.

I tried to capture the beauty of the dome and was aided by wonderful sunlight and a May blue sky. The picture was taken fom street level looking up at about 2:00 in the afternoon.

My camera is a digital (Canon A75). Since this is my first posting, I haven't figured out yet how to list my camera in the information section.
