Piazza del Duomo is located in the heart of the historic center of Florence. It is one of the most visited places in Europe and the world; here we can find the Florence Cathedral with the Cupola del Brunelleschi, the Giotto's Campanile, the Florence Baptistery, the Loggia del Bigallo, the Opera del Duomo Museum, and the Arcivescovile and Canonici's palace. The west zone of this square is called San Giovanni square.

A splendid place for a lovely cup of Italian coffee, some of the best in the world. I like the point of view with the tables and chairs in the foreground and the majestic cathedral as the backdrop. Excellent technical quality.

Absolutely a perfect coffee view, but I see nobody having coffee here. Maybe a location like this is too ridiculously expensive, like Piazza San Marco in Venice? But theoretically I would love to sit down here and admire the fantastic buildings for a while. It's a nicely cropped photo in any case, and you handled the rather harsh contrasts very well.

I like to visit Florence again on a beautiful sunny day like this. I had to run to go inside the church for it was raining cats and dogs. Amazing that nobody is sitting om the terrace with so many tourists in the street. Maybe the coffee was too expensive. I can remember that this was often the case in this kind of attractive places in Italy.

an original and interesting point of view, I like very much how you filled the vertical frame with interest, how you added a rich graphic foreground to the marvellous view of the Duomo.
