One WS at 43.7732, 11.2555 on the map, from better days when the place was crowded with tourists.

Pictures were drawn from my archives, taken with my spare camera. JPEG, main post is F2.8, 1/500, ISO160.

Hello Ike,
Seeing this cathedral was among the highlights of my first journey to Italy in 1969. The façade is full of fantastic details, which your spare camera captured with good sharpness and light. I don't think I have anything like this in my own archive.

I don't think anything can quite prepare you for the beauty of Florence and this building is breathtakingly beautiful.
I like how you have used the two photographs; one to show the intricate beauty of the design and decoration and the other to show how it fits into the whole.

Ike, this cathedral is one of Florence landmark. This facade is aesthetically decorated, it contains many details. Nice picture of architecture. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Hello Ike, seeing this shot makes me realise that I never take enough pictures when visiting new places! Having been to Florence, I know that I have no pictures like this!

I like the way that the frame is filled with all the details of the facade, it is such a beautiful building.
Excellent sharpness. And true to life colour.

Hello Ike, Florence is marvellous city but there is always such a crowd that it is difficult to enjoy. You showed it well in your Workshop photo. The photo of facade is nice but I would correct a bit the perspective. Amazing details, good sharpness, interesting colours.

Hi Ike,
this is a great idea to focus on the details here. They are frequently missed when one is in awe of the whole structure.
Amazing temple and sadly I didn't have a chance to see it yet.
