''Castel Thun is a monumental building of medieval origin, the best preserved of the Trentino and always intended to headquarters of the powerful family of the Counts Thun is located in the municipality of Ton, in Val di Non at 609 mts above sea level.
The castle was originally called Castle Belvesino, named after the hill on which it was erected. Then he took the family name holder's i Toni. These ones germanized the Name in Thun. the castle was repeatedly damaged by fire - during one of which, in 1569, lost his life Sigmund Thun, imperial orator at the Council of Trent.''

Sembra che sulla pianta fortificata originale vi sia una costruzione più recente.
La nitidezza dell'immagine consente una "ispezione" sul complesso.
La nota incuriosisce, luoghi ricchi di storia e di spunti per decisive foto.
