Photographer's Note

view of part of the Sesto Valley and the lateral Fiscalina Valley.

from previous post:
''Sesto Valley (in Ger. Sextental) is a small valley that connects Pusteria Valley to Cadore, through the Passo di Monte Croce.

The valley is quite wide, the town main villages are Sesto and Moso grew stretching to the edge of the main road and forming a continuum in which they are now indistinguishable from the small fractions: Ferrara, St. Vitus, Waldheim.Behind them lie the green fields, the farmhouses and barns.

Beyond the Sixth rio, toward south the houses give way to larch forests and pastures that stretch to the foothills of the Dolomites.
Following the position of the sun on the peaks of the Dolomites of Sesto is possible to know the exact time.''
