Photographer's Note

Someone is lucky.

After almost one year from my first post on TE) I submit a subject that I like in a very special manner: Christmas Hangings from Alto-Adige.

This is my wishful thinking:
In Alto-Adige Christmas is a period of great expectations, especially for children. The centre of Bolzano (but also of many other towns and villages) is filled of market wooden stands, selling Christmas Tree hangings. The most impressive are great and colorful glass decorations.

This is the reality:
As time goes by a pleasant local tradition has become a tourist business, boosted by massive marketing campaigns. Crowds of city folk get off from their buses to pick up as many Christmas souvenirs as possible, so believing to steal the athmosphere of Holydays and take it at home... and someone is lucky...
