Photographer's Note

Dear friends of TE, veterans from having spent a pleasant Sunday in Noto (SR), with Francesco (francio64) and Maurizio (mauro 61), I start to post my mini-series dedicated to the "capital of Baroque" .

Piazza Duomo is the central square of the city, an authentic baroque jewel on which enlarges the staircase that leads to scenic facade.
The interior of the cathedral remained half after the terrible collapse of the dome and the roof of the nave, but has now been rebuilt.
In front of the Duomo is the Palazzo Ducezio (the Municipality), beside the Palace Landolina and the bishop's palace, while the square was closed at the end by the big facade of San Domenico, by Gagliardi.
