Photographer's Note
Although the day was gray there was plenty of colour with the parade of people in medieval costume. And along with those are the 'sbandatori' (excuse me if spelt wrong?). Groups who are very proficient in the tossing of the flags (sbandierare). Piazza Alfieri, in Asti is a triangular Piazza, with the non-paying public allowed to stand in the middle.
