Photographer's Note

A view of one of the most famous statues to be found inside Milan Cathedral, San Bartolomeo Flayed.

Standing close to the altar, the statue was created by Marco d'Agrate in 1562. It shows the saint with his flayed skin thrown over his shoulders like a stole.
