Photographer's Note

The small village of Varenna on the shores of Lake Como. It offers to the visitor beautiful colored facades and a nice walk on the ridge.

This village is an important crossroads, especially for boat rides on the lake, since it is in the middle of the east bank, where the three branches of the lake meet.

In addition to the boat, which leads to Lecco, Mennagio or Bellagio, Varenna is also accessible by train from Lecco.

This is on the territory of this county that you can found the smallest river in Italy, the Fiumelatte (250m).
The village is also home to the Villa Monastero (to visit) and its gardens.
