Braunvieh ("brown cattle") is a breed of cattle originating from Switzerland and common all along the Alps and the North Italy and Southern Germany.
They are commonly various shades of brown in colour with lighter points. They are known for their excellent milking abilities and meat quality.
They are also very docile and easy to work with.
