Porto Venere (until 1991 Portovenere[1]) is a town and comune (municipality) located on the Ligurian coast of Italy in the province of La Spezia. It comprises the three villages of Fezzano, Le Grazie and Porto Venere, and the three islands of Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto. In 1997 Porto Venere and the villages of Cinque Terre were designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. (Wikipedia)

Excellent image quality! A BG level of the net old and characteristic architecture combined with the fg and sharpness! It is remarkable that the impressive triple shot! It also highlights the possible composition of BG in a very strong sky.

Un très beau cadrage qui donne de la profondeur à l'ensemble. Les couleurs des maisons italiennes sont toujours très belles et les bateaux devant ajoutent beaucoup à la composition.

hi isabelle, just enough good light to show the details of the houses in the background. what i like very much is your choice of viewpoint effecting to the scaling of the boats. The moody clouds definitely completes the shot :) best rgds, alex

nice composition by the boats in the lake in FG & the colorful buildings with old age ancient castle in BG...
very good exposure controlled with nice light management...with nice chosen POV...nice color tones & sharpness also...
