Photographer's Note

Nervi is a small coastal town that has been swallowed by the city of Genoa, 5 miles to the northwest. The main attraction of the town is the beautiful Passeggiata Anita Garibaldi, a walking boulevard along the coast's steep rocks. It leads past the Torre Gropallo, a 16th century watchtower that protected the town against pirates and Ottoman invasions.
