Hello Pierre,
The curve of the building with much columns cares for depth
All the chairs are a splendid padding, today impossible through corona.
An excellent composition and nice presentation.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice weekend,
John.

Bonjour Pierre
I was curious about the obelisk so went looking. All we know is that it was ordered from Alexandria in Egypt by Caligula in 37AD. It probably came downriver from Luxor. There are now more obelisks in Rome than in Egypt! Tfs!

Bonsoir Pierre,

hello Pierre, Nice view of the square, but once again, you haven't written what is going on there. Is there a queue to the entrance under the columns?
Have a nice Sunday

Hi Pierre
haha...fun shot, very interesting visual, it captured my attention right away. for me, the chairs are the best part, and just seeing how empty the place is. I have an almost 100% identicle shot when I was here. great one. cheers

Hello Pierre,
I remember you posting this seating in St Peter's Square before, but I think this is a better angle; we have the repetition of the rows of chairs but they are all neatly encased by the Colonnade and the protective statues.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)
