Photographer's Note

Hello Everyone,

When visiting Rome, the Colosseum is high on the list of places to visit, so we see many excellent photographs of the iconic building, but not so many looking out from the Colosseum.

My photograph was taken from high on the walls of the Colosseum. We can see the leading roads and the crowds of tourists approaching, some in groups and others as individuals hoping to employ a guide.

Inside the Colosseum, the crowds were not so dense, possibly because groups were waiting outside for their official guide or perhaps because the guides not attached to a company would wait to have amassed a group of ten or more before they considered beginning a tour.

I loved the tour.
The guide was so knowledgeable. It was so much better than listening to an audio guide.

I will add two workshops, also from the Colosseum, showing different views, which I hope you will find interesting.

My warm regards, Bev :-)
