Hello Pierre,
Another fine view from above of a part of the Forum. The probably medieval walls of the adjacent buildings provide a fine background. Once again the tourists help us to understand the impressive dimensions of the ruins. It's a well exposed and sharp photo.

Bonjour Pierre,
Une photo magnifique du Forum romain, un peu plus détaillée que vos précédentes vues plus générales.
Ce que je trouve très intéressant sur cette photo, c'est la partie avec la rue dans le coin supérieur gauche. C'est une excellente démonstration de la façon dont le Forum est situé au milieu de la ville d'aujourd'hui.

A beautiful view of the famous Forum with the ruins very well seen in a nice and bright sidelight. Most of all, it makes the white columns in the middle stand out really well from the more shaded parts. Great shot.

Bonjour Pierre, an excellent high point of view that allows us to see quite a lot of the forum.
The people add scale, so the ruins become even more impressive.

Hello Pierre,

The details of the Roman Forum are very nicely captured, giving a clear impression of the range of some of the buildings, their arches, their pillars and their scale. Some of the remains are evident below ground level, maybe unsafe for exploration, or maybe to be excavated and opened at a later date.
