Pierre, many parts of that old wall that belong to Palatin ruins have collapsed due to the time, the bad weather. The structure is so eroded that it ressembles a big rock nowadays. Fine colors, good sharpness, amitié.

Hello Pierre,
You have composed this photograph from the Palatine ruins very well, which is important when showing ruins, for the excitement is present in the photographer but has to be ignited in viewers.
The typical, red, Roman wall gives good f/g textures and though the gate is closed, it is an attractive gate and does encourage us to enter!
What a ruin still remains! We can only speculate about its original size, but it must have been a substantial building to have partially survived for so long! We continue to be impressed by the building skills of the ancient Romans!
The hint of a further ruin helps create a fine sense of depth.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Bonjour Pierre,
Great photo of these impressive ruins. The sunlight came from a good angle to highlight the textures of the ancient walls very nicely, especially of the small wall in the foreground. The tree at left is also well included.

Hello Pierre,
I might have added a little saturation to compensate for the haze and strong backlight. Well framed and composed with good sharpness. Tfs!

Hello Pierre,
My eye first fell on the sleek geometric shapes of the entrance gate and the sleek masonry of the wall.
A great contrast to the old ruin in the background.
Excellent work
Have a nice day, groet Rob
