Photographer's Note

A colossal bronze portrait of Constantine, in the Capitoline Museum. The larger marble portrait of Constantine, which is more well-known than this one, is located in the courtyard which is undergoing some renovations. This monumental bronze dates to the fourth century AD, and is located in the Marcus Aurelius Exedra. It was formerly at the Lateran and was a donation by Sixtus IV (1471).
