Photographer's Note

Rome's mayor has decided not to ban street artists from Piazza Navona, one of Rome's most popular squares. Artists will be allowed to return to the square but they will be able to work only on alternate days, cutting the number of street artists on any one day in half. Stalls and hawkers will be banned from Piazza Navona. The central focus of Piazza Navona is three lavish fountains. The piazza is a lively place, a popular destination for both tourists and locals, and street artists were an integral part of the piazza scene.
