The Capitol symbolizes 2500 years of history of the city of Rome.
The Capitol is the smallest of the seven hills of Rome, but also the most prestigious.
Two peaks up the hill, separated by a depression on Capitolium occupied by the Palace of the Conservatives and the Arx or Citadel.
Conservative Palace houses a museum, the Palace and the Palace Nuevo Senatorio surround Place du Capitole in the center of which stands an equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius. The design of this site has been created by Michelangelo.
