Castle Rock Sinibalda
Overlooking the valley of the Turano, Castle Rock Sinibalda is one of the most fascinating Italian castles. National monument, dating back in its original 1084, it was rebuilt as a fortress by the architect Baldassare Peruzzi by Cardinal Alessandro Cesarini in the thirties of the sixteenth century, and since then dominates the town with its defensive structure, powerful military fortress and sumptuous palace. The castle was finally returned to the ancient property, is now restored and open to the public.
