Photographer's Note

I was looking at the river from a high bridge; fortunately I had my camera with me and I could take some pictures to this boat! I like this photo because the river looks like a ...jungle river, in my opinion! Usually this river is dry.
This happened quite close to my home.

good composition, you're right about the jungle
but: the quality is very bad (too dark, unsharp, terrible compression) - it's hard to appreciate this picture.

like antoni mentioned already , the photograph is unsharp. was it raining when you too this photograph???
the composition here is quite stron, since it's capturing the vastness of the river here ( and that too when it is mostly dry)
you kept the photograph in the perfect place here
i also noticed in your gallery that you've been to india . so im sending a link which has some phtographs from rajasthan. maybe these can motivate you when you're in india next india

I like the top view...and colours..
but the jungle looks little too dark.

Ciao Livia,
non so se è lo stesso ponte, comunque anch'io ho attraversato il tagliamento quest'anno, vicino a San Paolo al T., durante una corsa podistica (traghettati dalla protezione civile). Non preoccuparti delle critiche tecniche, sono tutte cose facilmente migliorabili. Io valuto invece il colpo d'occhio e la composizione diagonale, che a me piace!

Bella questa! Peccato che sia sottoesposta e senza sole, in altre condizioni ne verrebbe fuori una foto spettacolare, il mix di acqua, ghiaia e alberi con quella zattera è davvero bello, complimenti.

The view of the raft just going to leave the frame is brillantly captured. As sohrab mentioned the vastness of the river is powerfully captured.Eventhough the composition is not sharp but it fits for the PoV. Great work TFS
