Photographer's Note

The Castle of Picoes, which suffered some internal and external damage, but resisted to the earthquake of the 20-5-2012.
It is the real symbol of the town, and a huge piece of our history.
The Pico family, very near to the Este family of Ferrara and Modena for weddings and alliances, gives birth to Giovanni Pico della Mirandola, one of the greater humanists of the Italian Renaissence.
The castle was recently restored (luckily)and is half inhabited and half dedicatet to tourists, exhibitions and every worthy cultural event.

Bel notturno con lampioni e luna annessi, la scenografia è molto romantica, brava.
Mi hai fatto venire in mente il mio caporale durante la naja, era di Mirandola.

excellent night shot.Good to know,that the castle resisted the last earthquake.It´s beautiful,medieval architecture really appeals to me.The picture has outstanding sharpness,well selected exposition and well kept natural colors.Very nice work!

La foto è molto ben fatta, con la strada a destra che crea una lunghissima profondità all'immagine, ottimi anche i dettagli e le scie luminose.
E' davvero un disatro quello che è successo, penso di non esser mai passato da qui ed ora posso ammirare questo magnifico castello solamente dalla tua foto.
