Photographer's Note

If you are ever in Amalfi or Atrani towns, it is well worth buying a bus ticket at the local tobacco shop and heading up by local bus to Ravello, a picturesque hill town with stunning views across the vineyards to the sea. This is the view from the bus stop. Lots of arts and crafts galleries, and museums are up there too as well as restaurants and souvenir stores. This is the view looking east towards Salerno. Taken near sunset so the colors are pastel, and the light is hazy. Next time I will try morning or early afternoon shots. I couldn't really find a high enough vantage point to get a decent sunset shot. The local white wine grown from these grapes is not bad at all.
