ENGLISH: Neapolitans have a saying, "If you want to learn how to pray, go to sea" (In Neapolitan dialect: "si te vuo' 'mpara' a prega', va' 'ncopp' o' mare". On the day I met this gentleman, the sea was calm, so there was no need to pray. So he was taking the time to mend his fishing nets and enjoying the sun and the tranquillity of his beautiful island. In heavy Neapolitan dialect he described to me the craziness of Procida in August, telling me he was very glad it was October and was all over for another year.
