Photographer's Note

This is another spectacular view I took while I was going up a chair lift towards the highest peak of the Island of Capri. The Highest peak in the island is in the district of Anacapri. The island you see here is the end of the peninsula where the City of Sorrento is located.

Capri is an island of the Sorrentine Peninsula off the south side of the Gulf of Naples. To appreciate the beautifl places in this island, you should stay at least three days. You need time to walk, explore and enjoy the Porto Grande (Big Harbor), the Marina Piccola (Small Harbor), the Belvedere of Tragara, which is a high panoramic promenade lined with villas, the limestone masses that stand out of the sea (the Faraglioni), Anacapri, the Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra), and the ruins of the Imperial Roman villas.
