Photographer's Note

Maratea is the only one city in the region of Basilicata by the Tyrrhenian Sea. One of the main features of Maratea is the variety of landscapes, from breathtaking views of the sea to the wooded hills and majestic mountains, falling into the sea, forming steep cliffs.

The city center is located on the northern slopes of Mount San Biagio. The city can be divided into four parts. And so, looking from the top, we first Maratea San Biagio with Basilica and the huge statue of Christ, next Maratea Antica - the ruins village by the Basilica, Maratea right known as Maratea Storico (Borgo), and then much lower, at the sea - Maratea Marina - port and marina.

Here in the lovely statue of nymphs in streams of water fountains in the square.

This is a scan from negative.
