Instead the Tall Ships, a photo from Dublin, South

Photographer's Note

Hello Trekkies,
Plan was ambitious, indeed...
The preparations were on the level of the trip to the war zone: full equipment control, spare batteries, memory cards, warm clothes (summer in Dublin), even tripod (very unusual for me, as I prefer handheld shots).
The objective: to make a best night pictures of Dublin Tall Ships 2012 Festival.
Final result: some crappy photos of ships, just shame.
Sorry - I'm not sufficiently talented to make a decent tall ships pictures.
But this session wasn't a total disaster.
I managed to make a few really nice shots of Beckett's Bridge. It was a first time, when I visited this famous and beautiful bridge with tripod, so finally I found a working cure for my Mariusz Kamionka complex! :)
Mariusz is a Trekearth publishing author of some perfect shots of this bridge. This time I can say, that I have a few photos with similar IQ to his works.

wow, no to teraz ja musze jechac do Dublina zrobic lepsze zdjecie tego mostu :)
Bardzo dziekuje za mila reklame.
Twoje zdjecie jest doskonale, z tej strony jakos nigdy nie udalo mi sie nic dobrego zrobic. A tu zarowno statek jak i convention centre dodaja uroku, ba nawet ten reflektor tworzaca przyjemna gwiazdke jest ciekawy.
Najwazniejsze to oczywiscie doskonaly blue hour z nieziemskimi kolorami.

I think this was a huge success! I have never ever taken a succesful night shot, and this to my eyes is inspiring. I love that view at any time, but how you have captured here is a real delight to behold.
