Photographer's Note

Ok, so what does Plan B in the title mean?
Talk to anyone who lives in Ireland or who has travelled to Ireland, and they say make sure you visit the Ring of Kerry, its beautiful.

So, we arrived in Kerry around 5 or 6 pm, found a B&B, settled in for the night in preparation to hit the road early in the morning to explore the Ring of Kerry.

As we're talking to the owners of the B&B, he informed us the Ring of Kerry would be closed tomorrow due to a Cycling event. This is some yearly event where 12000+ cyclists own the Ring of Kerry for the day, making it pretty much impossible for us to explore it. Of course he told us this info AFTER we paid for his B&B :)

So, we spent a large portion of our evening trying to come up with Plan B. Now what do we do, we drove hours specifically to come down here in the southern regions to see the Ring of Kerry. In our investigations, we learned that the Ring of Dingle was just as beautiful and with less tourists. So we thought, why not, lets go for it.

Here is just one of the spectacular views, you feel as if you're on the edge of the world. You can't tell in the photo, but believe me, the wind was SOOOOO strong here. It was hard to even stand up.
I'll probably post a couple more from here. I'm so glad Plan B happened, we may not have ventured out here if it didn't.

I wanted to keep the colours as natural as possible. An because of the winds, I didn't want to get too close to the edge, its quite the dramatic drop off where i'm sure you'll get to meet your maker.
