Photographer's Note
I have been meaning to do night shots ever since getting the camera at the start of the year. Braving the wind chill by the river was worth it as this is one of a set of shots from the night. This shot is of a more modern aspect of Dublin. Beside the Liffey, and taken towards the Samuel Becket Bridge that resembles a Harp on its side - the Harp being a symbol associated with Ireland.
Hope you like it....

I like this nightshot. All the colours and depth in this frame. Good work

I've been experimenting with nighttime shots lately as well, and have enjoyed the results. This is a nice one, with the old chain in the FG and the brightly lit city in BG - the footbridge is gorgeous, and reminiscent of others I've seen recently, notably in Buenos Aires, which had a similar design and was in a similar area. Great light reflections on the water here!

Hi Kev,
An excellent capture. The light management is spot on and I love the clarity of it. The wall leads the eye to the delights in the distance. Bravo Kev!

Hi Kev,
Really nicely done. The lights of this area of Dublin are beautiful, and especially the reflections on the river. Great POV and night shot, something I would love to be able to do myself.
All the best
Noel
