I've always been fascinated by see stacks and this sea stack at the Cliffs of Moher is a good example even if dwarfed by the neighbouring cliffs.
The sea stack's name is Branaumore and it is 67 metres high. High above it on the edge of the cliff is O'Brien's Tower, one of the popular walking destinations at the Cliffs of Moher.
I've also posted a close up of the stack as a WS.

Hi Ian,
I recognize this view in the opposite direction now.
This is such a photogenic destination here.
I see you have started slowly with less popular spots in County Clare with the culmination in its most recognizable destination.
Excellent reportage,
M

Hello Ian,
This view is even more impressive than yesterday's, thanks to the Branaumore and the tower. They are both very eye-catching. Looking at the WS I got the idea that climbing the Branaumore would be a supreme challenge to adventurers looking for new places to try their skills and courage.
Regards,
Gert

Hello Ian,
Two beautiful pictures where a few very small details on the main photo intrigue me.
Like the round O'Brian's tower and the yellow excavator that stands in front of it.
Excellent photo work.
Have a nice day, groet Rob

Hi Ian
The old castle atop the bg cliff is a nice detail. I might have cloned out the yellow excavator to the right. A terrific view of these awe inspiring cliffs. Tfs!

Hello Ian,
A fantastic view of the sheer cliffs, exposing their many layers of eroded rocks and with the sea surging beneath!
The sea stack resembles a tower, that has been eroded by the constant buffeting of the sea, so that it is being undercut and will eventually collapse! It's hard to realise that it was once attached the mainland!
Excellent sense of depth!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

A great shot of the impressive Cliffs of Moher. The tiny tower on top of the cliffs and the stack next to them are very well included. Nice and natural colours as well.

Hello Ian, the sea stack seems dwarfed by the famous cliffs, emphasising just how high the cliffs are.
We went there many years ago now, and I was amazed at the height of the cliffs of Moher.
An excellent shot, thanks for sharing, kind regards, Jean.

Hello Ian,
I think at the time my attention to Branaumore was diverted by the impressive cliffs of Moher because I do remember O'Brien's Tower but not Branaumore ... :(
I like the sharpness and colours of the rock face you present us here.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Ian,
Stunning photo. I like the sense of the depth. The castle looks rather tiny on the top. The excavator is a nice addition.

Hello Ian, Fascinating view of the high cliffs covered by green moss, this rock in the sea and town on the top, tiny compared with the cliff. Spectacular composition.

Hello Ian,
An impressive sight of the mighty sheer cliff.
The ancient tower on top and the tractor alongside's added good scale to appreciate this sight. Depth in double meaning superbly achieved.
Happy new year,

Hi Ian
What a fascinating image, both photographically and geologically: the strata in the rocks show up so clearly and with the tower one has an appreciation of the size/scale of the stack and cliffs. Drama is all here!
Best regards

Hello Ian.
Wow ..... Fascinating photography with this impressive cliff seen in the foreground, its height leaves you K.O. By comparison, the tower that we see above, I don't know if it's a castle or part of it, but it looks like a toy.
I also love the WS photo. with that rocky pinnacle at the foot of a gigantic cliff.
The color and light management are magnificent, highlighting the beauty and sharpness of the image.
Very well done. I like it
Have a good day.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hello Ian,
You captured very nicely of Irland's dramatic and sheer cliffs. O'Brien’s Tower gives a good clue about the height of the cliffs.
Greetings,
Ecmel
